Twisted Radish venue notes · Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin

Industrial history,
made celebratory.

Creamery 201 turns a historic Fort Atkinson building into a generous modern room for weddings and private events.

01   /   Reading the room

Creamery 201
through a culinary lens.

A venue is more than an address. It changes what the meal can become.

This guide pairs current venue information with the questions Twisted Radish considers before developing a bespoke menu. Availability, capacity, policies and inclusions can change; confirm them directly with the venue.

02   /   The Twisted Radish point of view

The setting is
only the beginning.

A strong commission here can be graphic and modern or deeply romantic. The constant is proportion: the food, tables and service must all belong to the size of the room.

03   /   What shapes the commission

What we notice
before we design.

The architecture, movement and working conditions of a place shape the food and service long before the first guest arrives.

01

The setting

A 15,000-square-foot downtown venue where industrial structure and contemporary finishes meet.

02

The rhythm

Its scale supports a clear progression through ceremony, cocktails, dinner and the evening that follows.

03

The culinary read

We use the room's volume deliberately, choosing service formats and stations that feel architectural instead of getting lost in the space.

In 1920, Creamery Package of Chicago built a large five-story building. Over the years it has housed many different manufacturing businesses, each leaving its mark on the unique building. Almost floor-to-ceiling windows surround the space, revealing views of Main Street. In the middle of the building, you will find an opening and mezzanine to the third floor. Easy access is provided for all catering and business functions with the use of our freight elevator, two stairways, and an additional elevator.

In 2016, Abby and her now-husband were searching for a venue to host their winter wedding. They stumbled across a "for lease" sign in the window of a beautiful brick building. After a few short months of remodeling and endless research Creamery 201 came to life. Abby's engagement turned into a growing wedding venue and career change for Katie. Since our opening in 2017, we have hosted weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and other special events.
